This Privacy Policy explains how Love Joy Life, LLC (“we,” “us”) handles information for wksrf(“The Wakesurf Club”), an invite-only community app for wakesurfers around Lake Tahoe. wksrf is a non-commercial community tool, not a marketplace.

Information we collect

Account & profileyou give us: your name, email address, and optionally a profile photo, short bio, phone number, your roles (owner / driver / surfer), your “vibe,” the boats you add, and an optional Venmo handle. Activity within the club: the runs you post or RSVP to, the members you follow, and house rules / gear you list. Technical data: basic log and device information that our hosting and infrastructure providers record to keep the service running and secure.

We do notcollect or store payment-card details. “Chip in for gas” links simply open Venmo — any payment happens entirely within Venmo, not on wksrf.

How we use it

To operate the club: sign you in, show conditions, coordinate runs and crew, power your profile and following feed, and send you service and notification messages (for example, an upcoming run from someone you follow, an RSVP confirmation, or a reminder) where you’ve enabled them. We use it to keep wksrf safe and to improve it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How it’s shared

With other members: your profile (name, photo, roles, vibe, boats, gear, house rules) and the runs you host or join are visible to other members of the club. With service providers who run the app on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Google (only if you choose to sign in with Google). Weather is provided by Open-Meteo, which receives no personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of the community.

Your choices

You can view and edit your profile, roles, vibe, boats, gear, and Venmo at any time in your account, and turn the chip-in link on or off. To export or delete your account and associated data, email us at hi@wksrf.cluband we’ll take care of it.

Retention & security

We keep your information while you’re a member and delete it on request. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

wksrf is intended for adults in the wakesurf community and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
