terms of service

These Terms govern your use of wksrf(“The Wakesurf Club,” the “Service”), operated by Love Joy Life, LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

Membership & eligibility

wksrf is invite-only. You must be invited by a member, be old enough to enter a binding agreement, and provide accurate information. You’re responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or remove access at our discretion, including for conduct that harms the community.

Community conduct

Be a real person and a good crewmate: treat members with respect, coordinate in good faith, honor the house rules of each boat, and don’t harass, impersonate, or post unlawful or harmful content.

Safety — please read

The conditions meter, surf scores, forecasts, and any “best window” or storm indicators are informational only. They are derived from third-party weather data that may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and they are nota guarantee that conditions are safe. wakesurfing and boating are inherently risky. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and safety on and around the water, for following all applicable laws and boating regulations, and for the instructions of the boat’s operator. Always use your own judgment — never rely on wksrf to decide whether it’s safe to go out.

Coordination, not a party to your plans

wksrf is a tool for members to coordinate runs. Any run, ride, seat, or arrangement is between the members involved. We don’t organize, supervise, or guarantee that any run happens, that seats or drivers are available, or that anyone shows up. Any money members share (for example, chipping in for gas) is handled directly between them through Venmo; we don’t process, hold, or guarantee those payments.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add (photos, text, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host and display it within the Service so the club works. Don’t post content you don’t have the right to share.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Love Joy Life, LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the Service or from any run, activity, or interaction coordinated through it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
